Founded by Sean Michael Diana, a passionate educator, Amici Trilingual Montessori began with a deeply personal mission: to give children the gift of the world’s three most spoken languages. Sean believes that children who can speak English, Spanish, and Mandarin will have the keys to unlock any career in the future. What started as a father’s vision has grown into Ahwatukee’s premier trilingual immersion Montessori school, blending academic rigor with the joy of cultural discovery. Each classroom features native-speaking Mandarin, Spanish, and English Montessori teachers.

Infant Program

Birth to 15 Months

Our Infant environments embody Maria Montessori’s vision of a “Nido” or nest—peaceful, loving places where babies can explore and feel secure. Native-speaking teachers introduce Mandarin, Spanish, and English from birth. Ratio: 1:4.

Toddler Program

15 Months to 2.5 Years

The routines of everyday living are the foundation of our Toddler program. Activities promote independence, order, and support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development—all in three languages. Ratio: 1:6.

Primary Program

2.5 to 6 Years

The Primary curriculum focuses on challenges appropriate to each child’s individual age and skill level—incorporating spatial learning, math, music, art, and language. The gold standard for Kindergarten readiness. Ratio: 1:10.

Kindergarten – 2nd Grade

5 to 8 Years

Continuing the Montessori journey with advanced trilingual academics, STEAM projects, and leadership development.

Summer Camp

All Ages

Fun-filled summer with trilingual activities, arts, outdoor play, and cultural exploration.

After-School Enrichment

K – 6th Grade

Extended learning with homework help, Mandarin & Spanish practice, arts, and STEAM until 6 PM.

We welcome children from birth through 2nd grade across our Infant, Toddler, Primary, and K-2nd Grade programs. Plus Summer Camp and After-School Enrichment. All feature full trilingual immersion in Mandarin, Spanish, and English.

Open 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Full day and half day options available to fit your family’s schedule.

You’re in our backyard! Amici is located right on Chandler Blvd. in the heart of Ahwatukee. Most 85048 families are just a 3-5 minute drive away. We’re conveniently located near the I-10 and Chandler Blvd. corridor.

Do you prepare kids for Kyrene de la Esperanza?

Absolutely. Our Montessori curriculum exceeds the standard readiness benchmarks used by Kyrene de la Esperanza, Summit School, and Kyrene de la Colina. Our students often enter Kindergarten with advanced reading skills and the unique advantage of functional fluency in Mandarin and Spanish.

Do I need to speak Mandarin or Spanish at home?

Not at all. Most of our families speak only English at home. Our full immersion method with native-speaking teachers ensures your child learns naturally at school.

What is the teacher-to-student ratio?

We follow American Montessori Society guidelines: Infant 1:4, Toddler 1:6, Primary 1:10. Each classroom has one lead Montessori-certified Guide and two assistant teachers—one Mandarin-speaking, one Spanish-speaking.

What ages do you accept?
