Trilingual Montessori Summer Camp in Ahwatukee

Ages 3 years old to 6th grade (approximately 12 years old). Groups are divided by age for appropriate activities.

Camp runs June 1 – August 7, 2026. Enrollment is weekly — sign up for as many weeks as you like.

No! You can enroll weekly. Half-day is $175/week, full-day single week is $295/week, and full-day multi-week enrollment is $250/week. Pick the weeks that work for your family.

Children can bring their own lunch or purchase a hot lunch for $3.50/day.

Not at all! Our immersion approach is designed for beginners. Children learn naturally through play, games, and activities — no prior language experience required.

Coding is taught 3 days per week using age-appropriate tools from Playful Digital Learning. Even our youngest campers participate in screen-free “unplugged” coding activities.

Camp is organized around the same age groupings as the school year, so toddlers, primary aged children, and kindergarten and early elementary children each have activities suited to them. The youngest groups follow a routine close to their regular day. Check with the office about your child’s exact age and the current summer groupings.

Yes. Camp is open to families who are new to the school, and space permitting it is a low pressure way to see whether the environment suits your child. You still complete enrollment and health paperwork before the first day. Many families treat camp as a trial run before applying for the school year.

Camp is built around weekly themes, so each week has its own focus with related projects, art, cooking, outdoor play, and hands-on exploration. If your child attends several weeks they get variety instead of repetition. The theme list for the coming summer is published ahead of sign-ups, so ask the office when it is released.

Scheduling options depend on the age group and on how full a given week is. Younger children sometimes do better with a shorter day at first. Tell the office what you need and they will confirm what is offered this summer, including whether care up to the 6:00pm close is available for your weeks.

Phoenix summers mean water first. Send a labeled water bottle, a hat, closed toe shoes, sunscreen applied before drop-off, and a full change of clothes. Anything a particular week needs is listed in advance. The office sends a packing list before camp starts, so you are not guessing from one week to the next.

Yes. The same native speaking teachers are present during camp, so children keep hearing all three languages through games, songs, cooking, and outdoor activities. Summer is often when language feels easiest, because it shows up in play rather than in lessons. A child new to Amici usually picks up more than you expect.

Sign up in the spring. Popular weeks fill first, and families already enrolled during the school year often reserve their weeks early. If you are new to Amici, contact the office as soon as the summer schedule is posted so you can choose weeks that fit around your family’s travel plans.

Most families do. Camp is generally arranged week by week, which lets you work around vacations and other summer plans. Availability is also week by week, so the weeks you want can fill even while others stay open. Confirm the current registration rules and any minimum with the office before you plan the summer.
