About Amici Trilingual Montessori Our Philosophy, Mission, and Story
Nurturing global citizens through Mandarin, Spanish & English immersion near South Mountain.
Founded by Sean Michael Diana, Amici began with a deeply personal mission: to give children the gift of the world’s three most spoken languages. Each classroom features native-speaking Mandarin, Spanish, and English Montessori teachers with one certified Guide and two assistants.

The South Mountain area is a diverse, growing community with families who want more for their children’s education. Amici Trilingual Montessori, located just 15 minutes away in Ahwatukee, offers something no South Mountain preschool can: authentic Montessori education with full immersion in Mandarin, Spanish, and English. In a community where bilingualism is already valued, we take it a step further with trilingual fluency. Our graduates arrive at Kyrene de la Paloma and Laveen Elementary already reading, writing, and speaking in three languages.

Peaceful “Nido” environments where babies explore and feel secure with native-speaking teachers. Ratio: 1:4.
Toddler Program
15 Months to 2.5 Years
Independence, order, and trilingual development through everyday routines. Ratio: 1:6.
Primary Program
2.5 to 6 Years
Math, music, art, language, and spatial learning. Gold standard Kindergarten readiness. Ratio: 1:10.
Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
5 to 8 Years
Continuing the Montessori journey with advanced trilingual academics, STEAM projects, and leadership development.
Summer Camp
All Ages
Fun-filled summer with trilingual activities, arts, outdoor play, and cultural exploration.
After-School Enrichment
K – 6th Grade
Extended learning with homework help, Mandarin & Spanish practice, arts, and STEAM until 6 PM.

Do you prepare kids for Kyrene de la Paloma?
Yes! Our Montessori curriculum exceeds readiness benchmarks for Kyrene de la Paloma and Laveen Elementary. Students arrive with advanced literacy and trilingual fluency.
Do I need to speak Mandarin or Spanish at home?
Not at all. Our native-speaking teachers ensure natural immersion at school. Most families speak only English at home.
Is the 15-minute drive worth it?
Parents say yes! One family drove 25-30 minutes each way and called it “well worth it.” No other preschool in the area offers trilingual Montessori with native-speaking teachers in all three languages.
