What is included in tuition at Amici?

Tuition covers your child’s place in a trilingual Montessori classroom staffed by a certified lead guide and two assistants, daily use of the Montessori materials, and the enrichment built into the program. Some items come from home and some extras sit outside tuition. Ask for the current inclusion list on a tour so there are no surprises.

How does billing work?

Families are billed on a regular recurring schedule rather than per day, which keeps your child’s spot reserved whether or not they attend every session. Payment methods, due dates, and any late policy are laid out in your enrollment agreement. The office reviews the current billing schedule with you before your child’s first day.

Do you offer part-time schedules or only full-time?

Schedule options vary by age group and by how full a classroom is. Younger rooms often have less flexibility because consistency matters at that age. Tell the office the days and hours you actually need and they will tell you what is available right now for your child’s program instead of quoting a generic answer.

Do I pay Amici directly and get reimbursed, or does the state pay the school?

Payment flow depends on which program you are approved for, since ESA and DES handle disbursement differently and the state sets those mechanics. Bring your approval letter to the office and they will tell you what gets billed to the agency, what gets billed to you, and when each piece is due, so you are not fronting anything unexpectedly.

What do I need to send with my child each day?

Plan on a full change of clothes, weather appropriate outerwear, and anything specific to your child’s age group such as bottles, diapers, or nap bedding. Label everything. Requirements shift between the infant, toddler, and primary rooms, so the office gives you a supply list for the exact classroom your child is joining.

Are meals and snacks provided?

Food practices differ by age group, especially for infants who are still on bottles or just starting solids. Some things are packed from home and some are handled at school. Because this changes with age and with dietary needs, ask on a tour what your child’s classroom expects from you and what the school takes care of.

What holidays are you closed?

Amici follows a published annual calendar that includes major holidays and a small number of staff development days. You receive that calendar at enrollment along with updates during the year, so closures never arrive as a surprise. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm, at 1244 E. Chandler Blvd. in Ahwatukee.

Do I still pay if my child is sick or away on vacation?

Your tuition reserves your child’s place in the classroom, so it generally continues through absences, illness, and family travel. Specific terms covering vacation weeks and extended absences are spelled out in your enrollment agreement. Ask the office to walk through those terms before you sign so you know exactly what to expect.
