Founded by Sean Michael Diana, a passionate educator, Amici Trilingual Montessori began with a deeply personal mission: to give children the gift of the world’s three most spoken languages. Sean believes that children who can speak English, Spanish, and Mandarin will have the keys to unlock any career in the future. Each classroom features native-speaking Mandarin, Spanish, and English Montessori teachers with one lead certified Guide and two assistants.

Infant Program
Birth to 15 Months
Our Infant “Nido” environments are peaceful, loving places where babies explore and feel secure. Native-speaking teachers introduce Mandarin, Spanish, and English from birth. Ratio: 1:4.
Toddler Program
15 Months to 2.5 Years
Activities promote independence, order, and support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development—all in three languages. Ratio: 1:6.
Primary Program
2.5 to 6 Years
Incorporating spatial learning, math, music, art, and language. The gold standard for Kindergarten readiness at Kyrene schools. Ratio: 1:10.
Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
5 to 8 Years
Continuing the Montessori journey with advanced trilingual academics, STEAM projects, and leadership development.
Summer Camp
All Ages
Fun-filled summer with trilingual activities, arts, outdoor play, and cultural exploration.
After-School Enrichment
K – 6th Grade
Extended learning with homework help, Mandarin & Spanish practice, arts, and STEAM until 6 PM.

Do you prepare kids for Kyrene de los Lagos Dual Language?
Absolutely. Our trilingual Montessori curriculum gives children a massive advantage entering the Kyrene de los Lagos Dual Language program. Our students already have fluency in three languages, making the transition to a dual language school seamless and accelerated.
How is Amici different from other Ahwatukee preschools?
Amici is the only trilingual (Mandarin, Spanish, English) Montessori program in the East Valley. While other preschools offer play-based or English-only curricula, our students develop genuine trilingual fluency alongside Montessori academic foundations. We also accept ESA scholarships.
What is the teacher-to-student ratio?
We follow AMS guidelines: Infant 1:4, Toddler 1:6, Primary 1:10. Each classroom has one lead Montessori-certified Guide and two assistant teachers.
Is the 10-minute drive worth it?
Our parents say yes! One family drove 25-30 minutes each way and said it was “well worth it.” No other preschool in the East Valley offers true trilingual Montessori immersion with native-speaking teachers in Mandarin, Spanish, and English.
